They chat about how hidden Edinburgh inspired this book, what you would do with an extra hour a day, combining Scottish myth with Newtonian physics, creating a sense of dread but also funny footnotes, how female scientists have been written out of history, the fractured nature of time and how we realise too late how every second counts.
