NZPork CEO Brent Kleiss gave REX Today’s Dominic George his thoughts on an independent report commissioned by the Government into the proposed changes to the code of welfare for pigs.
The report reveals if the code is adopted, consumers will pay over 18 percent more for NZ born and raised pork and could leave the local industry decimated.
