Julianne and Aaron Carpenter farm in the remote Hawke’s Bay area of Puketitiri, under the Kawekas. The whole area of Rissington, Patoka and Puketitiri has been cut off, with no power and limited communications. REX caught up with Julianne on Friday 17 Feb.
