She’s a farmer in the Wairarapa, and the Chair of Safer Farms - an organisation that brings together farmers, and senior leaders from agribusiness, industry groups, and government… Their current focus is reducing injuries to children and teens on farm, and you can get involved too!

Greg Parkes is the Head Livestock Buyer for Taylor Preston, It sources stock right across the lower North Island and also over the Strait, from the South Island. Greg’s also involved in farming in his own right, so you could say he’s involved right along the chain; from paddock to plate.

It’s been a winning quinella for Patrick Crawshaw lately - a seat at the Young Farmers grand final and a seat on the Beef and Lamb NZ board! Overshadowing it perhaps, has been the challenge of working through the Cyclone recovery on his beef and lamb farm in Patoka, Hawke's Bay. Patrick should probably be swotting for the Young Farmer of the Year Grand Final, but he’s kindly taken time out to chat with us about the highs and lows.

Sally Peter is a powerhouse of energy who farms on the coast of Marlborough with her husband Rob. Sally joins us now to tell us about this place and the East Coast Protection Group she helped form, to protect the beach ecosystem.
