Things are ramping up at Gloriavale as businesses act on the ERA ruling that the Christian community was in breach of labour laws, using child and volunteer labour. Gloriavale has sought a high court injunction forcing Westland Dairy Company to continue collecting milk from its three farms after it announced an indefinite suspension. Silver Fern Farms has also ceased operations with Gloriavale, while Alliance Group and ANZCO are still assessing their options. Gloriavale leaver and dairy farmer David Ready spoke to REX Today’s Dominic George.
