RPM Underground: The Red Wave Collective
Capitalists are waging a war on independent media. But the working class is organizing and fighting back. Red Wave is part of this movement. We’re a collection of DSA organizers fighting for worker owned media and democratically run community radio here at WBAI, where four of us were just elected to the Local Station Board. Today Amy Wilson and I were joined by fellow Red Wave member Charlotte Albrecht. We discussed the current crisis at Pacifica and our long-term vision to build a socialist media rooted in working class institutions. Then we have a live report from the TWU rally and an interview with Local 100 members by special correspondent Amy Wilson.
