Today we discussed the end of the legislative session in Albany and how a new left coalition, backed by a mass movement, lead to the expansion of working class power. State Senator Julia Salazar, an active member of the Democratic Socialists of America, joined us to talk about fighting for socialism, both as an organizer and an elected official. However before she arrived, we briefly discussed the significance Tiffany Caban campaign on election day and how her victory can continue to build working class power here in New York City.
