What should be considered the gold standard in remakes, Resident Evil 1 for the Nintendo Gamecube made what was once a joke of a game, a legendary one. I never played the original because it looked so silly but this game changed all that. I went deep into the guest pool this week and brought out my brother, Phil, to join me on this adventure. It is his first time doing a podcast so be nice.

Resident Evil with Samurai....well kinda. Onimusha Warlords, a failed project that got delayed and finally released on the PlayStation 2. Set in feudal Japan, this title has you taking on hordes of the monster of hell to save the princess. I had never played this before before Jake Macauley brought it to me. Is it any good though, let's find out!!!

When the Xbox was first released, it needed a big launch title and it got one in Halo. Halo and the Master Chief are now part of gaming history and has had a huge impact on the gaming world. Jarrad is back with me at the home office to talk about his memories of this great game.

Sonic the Hedgehog, one of the most important games in my life. Heck it is what has influenced the logo for this show. This week, I am joined by @chriscoplien from the Retro Hangover and we learn how influential the game this and the anatomy of Knuckles.

Ah Duke Nukem.....a relic from the past...maybe. The Duke Nukem games were very good years before but Duke has fallen into a bit of a hole. He did have some goodins and this was one that he was at his best. Duke Nukem 64, a PC port onto the N64. I had never played a Duke Nukem game before but I gave it a shot. This week myself and Dan Coles go through one his games he loved growing up.

This is where fighting games hit the media's attention. Mortal Kombat 2, a sequel which created the rating system we have today. I did play this but I am always gonna be a Street Fighter man. My guest, Raging Demon, had a lot of experience playing this and gives his views on his first appearance on the show.

Have you ever played a game that screams Japanese culture than this does? A game which hardly saw any copies compared to other huge titles of the era. Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon for the N64. One of the only games we received over here in the west and I loved it it. My cousin Stefan and I go over this gem and wonder why we don't see more of it.

After our failed attempt of being nice to Mario Brothers 2, myself and CPC are looking at Mario Brothers 3 to see I can be nice about it. Super Mario Brothers 3 was the welcome return Mario to the system. I had fond memories of this, although Super Mario World was my first, I got to play this later on. It has taken 29 episodes but we have finally at our first Mario Kart episode. Myself and Jake Mcauley are covering Mario Kart Double Dash for the Nintendo Gaemcube. I love this game and so does Jakey, which means we are going to be having a love fest.

Ever been to a hospital and thought, I can run this better? Theme Hospital have you that chance. I was rubbish playing this as a kid but my guest, Rob Cox, brought it back to my attention and boy did I have a good time.

Although I do love Tekken, Street Fighter Alpha 3 was heavily played on my PlayStation 1. Myself and Chris discuss the last of the Alpha series released by Capcom and discuss whether it was really as good as I thought it was.

It is our 6 month anniversary. 6 months!!! And it is time to bring the big guns....The Legend of Zelda makes it's first appearance on the show. Before we got into the hype of Sonic Mania. One series tried to bring back the magic of Sonic, Sonic Advance for the Game Boy Advance. The game was Sonic's first appearance on an Nintendo console and something we never thought we would see. This one was considered a classic and how to make a movie game right. Spider-Man 2 was the groundwork for the PS4 monster. My guest this week. the amazing Rob Cox loved this game. Time to get out swing on!!

As if Nintendo read my mind....well I think they did, this week myself and my guest, R9 Beats are covering Pokémon Snap for the N64. This was a sleeper hit and up until recently, never had a sequel. I fully played this when it came out and loved it. But looking back at it now, does it still hold up.

This was not my idea, it was my guest's, CPC, The Christian Pokemon Champion. It seems weird doing Mario 2 first but here are. Mario Brothers 2, I did not play this until it came out on Super Mario all stars for the super nintendo. The question is.....is it a good game. Well you are about to hear my thoughts on the matter.

One of the gems of the N64 and then gem of the franchise, Lylat Wars/Star Fox 64. I played a lot of this growing up and got really good at it. My guest did the same, returning to the show, Chris Coplien, the presenter of the Retro Hangover, joins me for a good chin wag.

It seems odd to do this first before the main game but here we are. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7, the story of Zack Fair, a character with a huge amount of impact on the main series but not a lot is known about him. Today me and my guest, Keegs, do our best to try to figure out what is going on.

I am returning back to the arena of the gods on the search for the legendary swords. Myself and Jake Mcauley love this game and oh yes some of the character designs. Soul Calibur came out for the gamecube, xbox and playstation 2 with a few guest characters...one of which...I loved.

I love this game, my guest, Rob Cox loves this game, you should love this game. This is a cult classic. I really hope we can inspire some great memories of this great game. Snowboard kids is a great game for the N64. I did not think a lot of people had played this but maybe I am wrong.

Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3, a game which I did not have a lot of experience with. However, my guest, CPC (The Christian Pokemon Champion), did. I feel that I am going to rip this game a new bottom...stupid crystals.

Streets of Rage for the Megadrive...the first game I ever owned. I loved this game so much growing up. I still love it now. I am joined by Chris, presenter of the Retro Hangover podcast. Make sure you give it a listen!!!
