Twitter has laid off over a third of their workforce but still seem to be functioning and even adding features. Does that tell us something about the relative staffing levels of tech firms, or is Twitter unique?
And, Sequoia is chasing returns outside of North America. Is that an indication of the quality of US-based startups or does it speak to the growth potential "everywhere else"?
