The Prudentialist joins me for a wide-ranging discussion on current events. We begin by covering Trump’s sentencing in the hush money trial. Shifting gears, we consider the floated purchase of Greenland. What, if anything, does America stand to gain from such an acquisition? Is it at all within the realm of possibility? We then begin our discussion of the Los Angeles wildfires.
In the second half, we ponder the cause of the fires. Is climate change to blame? We argue that is not – but even if it were, that would not excuse the various policy blunders responsible for the wildfires wreaking such havoc. After covering the various factors at play, we discuss the scourge of looting that breaks out every time a natural disaster strikes.
