re183: Thursday Thunder | S2E40 | Intermittent Fasting: Lost 5 Kilos in 5 Weeks (+ Better Sleep & More Energy)
Greetings from Driebergen, We’ve been back from the States for about 5 weeks. I’ve now lost about 5 kilos. ??8/30 — 85.79/3 — 84.09/10 — 83.19/17 — 82.09/24 — 82.110/1 — 81.610/5 — 80.8 It’s Friday morning as I ?type (and record) ?this. I ?weigh myself weekly on Friday morning. Guess which evenings the intermittent fasting goes more easily? ? Yep: ? ???TuesdayWednesday and especially:Thursday ?I ?have a weekly deadline: Friday morning on the scale. ?As yummy as Thursday night’s dinner is, I’m not going to eat it. I usually eat it on Friday for lunch. ?Speaking of tips, here are a few: ? ?Keep busy: ?Wednesday evenings are easier to skip because I ?have basketball practice from 6 to 7:15 and don’t get home until 8 PM–when dinner is usually over. PRO TIP: ?if I’m really hungry and/or just feel like eating, I often will just go to sleep because it’s hard to eat when you’re not awake. Compare: ?weigh the difference (OK pun intended!) between: ?How yummy was dinner? How awesome do I ?feel in the morning when I ?skipped dinner?Test: ?I ?know, #2 can be hard to do if you haven’t yet experienced that powerful feeling of waking up feeling great. ??I’m going to make a #4 here as a “cheat” ?code.Go to sleep: ?you can’t eat if you’re asleep. I sleep better, faster, deeper, and there’s more healing energy available because my body isn’t digesting dinner. I ?need less sleep and the sleep I ?have is better. I ?wake up refreshed and, surprisingly, not hungry. Water: ?if I ?do wake up hungry, drink as much water as you can and then drink that amount again. Yep, twice what you think you should. ?Why do I ?do this? ?How can I be so antisocial and skip dinners with my family? ? ?Here are a few benefits to intermittent fasting: ? ??Energy: ?I feel alive, my energy level is more constant (and constantly higher), and I ?don’t have the afternoon dips as much. Confidence: ?I ?know, this might seem weird or difficult unrelated or even impossible, but it all affects my confidence, self-esteem, and internal power. Crazy, I ?know. Sleep: ?I ?sleep less yet feel more energized when I ?wake up. You’d think this doesn’t make mathematical sense (and it doesn’t) but basically, your body doesn’t need to spend so much energy at night digesting your dinner. Alive/Awake: ?I don’t know how to explain this one. I ?just “feel better.” ?Creativity: ?I have more ideas and more good ideas. See #2 about confidence and I ?think these ideas could be something I ?could do. ?I ?could keep going with benefits but I’ll save them for another time. ?I ?got things to do today. ?Make it a thunderous Thursday. re182: What if you like it and are good it? Then you did it again and again?
Greetings from highway A12, You know when someone tells you something you could (READ: should) do and you don’t do it and you don’t know why you don’t do it (because it’s a good idea) and you finally, after years, realize that this is what you should be doing and then you make the bold statement that you’re going to do that that? Then you’re going to do it over and over? So that happened on Tuesday. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/4oMFOzome80 ]

re181: Do you play enough?
Greetings from Driebergen, ?Play. ?We all know what it is. But do we do it? ?What are the benefits of it? ? ?Just to compare and contrast, here are few terms for you to swish around while watching: ? Matter vs. EnergyParticle vs. WaveChronos vs. KairosWork vs. Play ?Recognize any of those? ? ?10 minutes from the woods to get you to go out and play–and allow, let in, surrender to the greatness that will inevitably come to you when you stop … working so hard. ?Happy Thursday. Bradley P.S. Geez, I’m so passionate about Play you’d think I’d write a book about it. Oh wait … [ https://youtu.be/cg4k9ultfIg ]

re180: Rock Your Writing
Greetings from the exotic islands in the north of The Netherlands, ?Well, at least that’s where David Chislett is. ?In the coming weeks and months, I’m going to focusing more and more on Ambassadors. I’m planning on making it the focus of my monthly newsletter (The 17th). ?You may remember last week I ?had top quality video and audio thanks to the team at BFF Visuals. They produced David’s entire online course. ?Without BFF, David could have produced a course but it would have been of lesser quality. ?Without me last week, he could have told his story, but not in interview format. ?We need each other, we work better when we work together. ?But that’s all news for tomorrow. ?Today, I ?want to talk about the actual content of David’s course: ?Rock Your Writing. ?Well, actually better than me just telling you about it, let’s let David tell us about it. ?Below is our 16-minute chat about his writing course that’s not a grammar course, not a book-writing course, but a course that is going to help you get across what you want to actually say more efficiently and effectively. ?Thanks for watching this week and let me know what you think of his course! Bradley [ https://youtu.be/VGusqJQb0A0 ]

re179: Say Yes to the Unknown
Greetings an audio visual studio in Amsterdam, Wait! Where’s Pepper!? I know. So crazy. I said yes to something and one thing lead to another. Here’s the mathematical formula: Know the outcome of when you say noDon’t know the outcome of when you say yesSay yesBe open to what happensExploreAdventurePlay If you say yes to something unknown in the coming week, reply to this email or comment under this YouTube video and let me know about it. Until then, keep saying no until you say yes. Keep your frequency high. Bradley P.S. The video we were recording that night was for this: Rock Your Writing. P.P.S. BFF Visuals were AWESOME! Check out their work here. [ https://youtu.be/CpwgrzbT364 ]

re178: What’s Your Frequency?
Greetings from the woods of Driebergen, I’m going to keep this introduction short. It’s about frequency. I see it in two forms: Calendar: daily, weekly, monthly? How often should we do things, what are the things we should do, and with how much intensity should we do them?Radio: the radio waves are out there and always transmitting. All you need to do is tune into your frequency to connect. And by “radio” it could mean tuning into your true self, your future, or … who knows. The “Calendar” is your roadmap, your blueprint, your guide. The “Radio” is your speed, your connection, your tune. A quick personal example from a creator’s (writer’s) perspective: Daily: writing, meditating, brushing teethWeekly: podcasting, video recordingMonthly: newsletter, speaking (on stage)Annually: conference, evaluate I often write books that I need to read myself. Where does the content come from? From conversations, books, listening. Discussing. With whom? With you. I’m putting out the call to connect (get the “frequency” theme going on here?). If you have experience with a daily habit that’s working or a weekly ritual or anything else on whatever topic (health, wealth, work, personal, etc.) you’d like to pitch to me for a less-than-30-minute chat, let’s do it. Head to frequency.repossible.com, fill in your email, and let’s set up a time. Keep it at a high frequency this week and let’s talk soon. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/ePFWw5ynS8g ]

re177: The Journey IS the Destination
Greetings again from Bologna, Italy, We made it to the football (soccer) match. It was super fun. Had it been easy to get tickets, that would have been the end of the story. It turns out, getting the tickets WAS the story. What if the destination, the goal, is the journey? Could we have it backwards? Is it possible that “getting to the game” is at least as important (or memorable or fun) as “being at the game”? We got through the day, got to our destination with: PersistencePatiencePassion The destination was sweeter because the journey was longer, tougher, more of a struggle. Coming to you live from the center of Bologna after the soccer match, this week’s Thursday Thunder actually happened on Sunday. Crazy, I know. But sometimes, the Thunder comes before the lightning. The journey is the destination. See you next week. Keep your frequency high and your heart rumbling with thunder. Bradley P.S. The photo above is of what someday might have been a ticket office. Not today. Not for us. Not for this journey. [ https://youtu.be/ePFWw5ynS8g ] [ https://youtu.be/64ujo8XMMak ] [ https://youtu.be/7TWJG_b6wPE ]

re176: Do you have a team? A partner? A sounding board? We’re better together.
Greetings from Bologna, Italy, I ?had a call this morning with a partner, colleague, friend. For an hour, we batted around ideas, gave feedback, and took the criticism and praise. ?Did you catch that last part? ? ??CriticismPraise ?It’s not all rainbows and unicorns. When we “debate” something on our own, we only have our own opinion, experience, and mindset. When we dare to open up our ideas and plans, dreams and far-out goals, it can be scary but chances are good they’ll become stronger. ?Set up a weekly (or monthly) call with someone with whom you can bat around ideas. Ideally, someone who’s on a similar path and nearby as far as experience. ?Don’t just talk about pasta and the weather but dare to challenge yourself and let go of the hesitation and fear and just see what happens. ?It’s better to get the feedback that it’s a terrible idea–or a great one–to a small audience than to flop on stage when you unveil your big new idea. ?Make it fun, make it regular, but make it happen. ?That photo up there is my best “teamwork” ?shot of the week as Luca hates clothes shopping (and I’m not a big fan, either), but together we made it happen. ?THEN we got ice cream. ?Make it a great Thursday. ?Oh, and if it’s not such a great Thursday, it’ll be around in 7 days for more. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/8BgHFHFL2mM ]

re175: Like writing, running, and even losing weight, travel can inspire more travel
Greetings from Driebergen, Back in The Netherlands after 3 weeks in the States. I had forgotten 1 thing about travel: it’s addictive. If you do it, you want to do more. You can get used to it, better at it, and if you’re anything like me, you’ll want to do more and more until you can go no more. See you next week from a brand-new location. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/UlksWWaEzx8 ]

re174: There’s a Simple Formula to Explain the Bliss (The Power of Journaling)
Greetings from South Lake Tahoe, California, U.S., In last week’s Thursday Thunder episode, we talked about how it had been more than a year that I had written daily. This week, I have physical, even visceral, proof of how powerful it can be when we get our thoughts out on a regular basis. My sister gave me a bunch of old photo albums, most of which my mom had put together over the years, that I needed to look through and decide whether to keep or scan digitally and throw away. I came across one I didn’t even know my mom had made from my then-girlfriend-now-wife and my world trip complete with a journal entry towards the end of the trip that emphasized the importance of writing on a regular basis to get the thoughts out of our heads and hearts and into the world (even if not publicly). I’ll read a short excerpt from a journal of mine when we were in Mongolia. I hope it inspires you to journal daily or at least on a regular basis. Until next week, keep writing. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/2YFZe5Q8RnU ]

re173: This Is What Happens When You Don’t Create
Greetings from Truckee, California, U.S., There was something missing over the past 10 days of our vacation. I couldn’t pinpoint it but then yesterday morning it hit me. ?I ?don’t know if it’s the same for you but when I’m not doing this one simple thing, I’m not living my life to the fullest. ?Yep, it’s pretty much that simple. ?Make it a great weekend. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/sMS-a1c8iyY ]

re172: Sneak Peak: Chapter 9 from Adwynna MacKenzie’s Bestselling book, “Carefree”
Greetings from Lake Chelan, Washington, This is an episode about nudging, collaboration, and co-creation. I have been bugging (nagging, pleading, begging, asking, daring … ) with Adwynna MacKenzie to get the audiobook version of her bestselling book, Carefree, started. There’s good news and bad news. The good news? She started. The bad news? You only get one chapter. For now. Want more? Want to help me bug her, I mean, ask her, to finish those other chapters so we can get the full voice experience of her story of Carefree into our ears? Check out more at Adwynna.com or get the ebook version of her book here: https://amzn.to/3zxm9eq Enjoy chapter nine right here in the Repossible podcast. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/keNaBDA1bz4 ]

re171: DARE Sneak Peek: We Elevate When We Educate
Greetings from Driebergen, I ?took up a DARE to try a new software. Well, software I ?knew (Canva) but a new feature: ?video! ?I ?was running out of time today and gave it my best shot but I ?knew I wasn’t going to make it. It’s terrible. (But did you notice there’s a link? ?I dare post my terrible attempt at something?) ?It’s good to (1) receive the dares, especially from friends, and then (2) give it a shot, but it’s also OK to (3) give up if you run out of time or energy or whatever. Here’s a bit of daring and then I’m dropping in the chapter from the audiobook DARE called Educate. ?I hope you enjoy it. Make it a great Thursday. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/GB9606d5SlY ]

re170: Behind the Scenes in the Audiobook Recording Studio
Greetings from Driebergen, I love to record audiobooks. I might even like it more than I like writing the books. ?In this video, I give a bit of insight into the behind the scenes of audiobook pricing and the percentages we as authors and narrators get. ?It’s not pretty. ?Well, unless I ?can deliver direct. Which I ?now can. Make it a great Thursday. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/AWS6vZmv6_4 ]

re169: Have You Mastered the Fundamentals?
Greetings from Driebergen, Thanks to the numbering of these weekly videos, I realized it’s the 26th week of the year–exactly halfway. I hope you have moved forward from the beginning of the year but I seem to want to go even further back and get my foundation solid. Although I’m doing 27 projects at a time, how are the basics? What about the core of your offerings? The roots of the tree, the foundation of the building, the easy, simple, yet often overlooked stuff. I talk basketball in the video but I have just revamped, redesigned, reedited, and recorded the audiobook for the first book in the Repossible series, Ask. You can get the bundled ebook and audiobook here and use the code THUNDER for 25% off. https://payhip.com/b/cKSvg How’s your foundation? How often do you revisit the basics? Make it a great Thursday. Greetings from Driebergen, Sure, I have stories of mom. But their MY stories. What about other stories that are not mine? Friends? Family? You know how to get those stories from others? It’s super easy. It’s that powerful yet someone scary 3-letter word: ask. I’m been overwhelmed with the joy, love, even gratitude that I’m asking mom’s friends for their stories. It’s all going into her book, “Goddamn Attitude.” Bradley [ https://youtu.be/BEDjrpAT058 ]

re165: Speak Up! A 4-Week, Hands-On, Collaborative, Group Coaching “Get Booked for a Speaking Gig” Program with Nicoline Huizinga
Greetings from Driebergen, So you’ve got your book done; GREAT! And now you may wonder what’s next. Here’s a suggestion for you: get invited as a guest speaker on other people’s podcasts, memberships or (online) events and talk about your book! re164: Your Mother Didn’t Get to Write Her Memoir. Want to Write it for Her?
Greetings from Driebergen, What if you had an assignment where you “had to” write your memoir. Right now. Now on your deathbed, but just now. ?Not an autobiography, which starts with when and where you were born … blah blah blah. Boring. ?But what about just a story or three? ?What if that were what you had to do? Or forget “had to,” ?but wanted to”? ?Would you want to? ?That’s what I’m working on–and the rewards are abundant and unexpected. ?Book is out June 12. When is your story ready to be told? ?Make it a great Thursday. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/qZxW_CUNlfU ]

re163: Every Single Lifetime
Greetings from Driebergen, Let’s just say for a moment that we have the daily, weekly stuff going on. Maybe even the monthly and annually. Awesome possum. What about the once-in-a-lifetime stuff? The “big” stuff? Are we taking care of that along the way? Can 13 minutes on the basketball court help us get a little closer to it? Bradley [ https://youtu.be/O3L9FDjq5dM ]

re162: 3 Easy Steps to a Long, Meaningful, and Magical Life
Greetings from Driebergen, I woke up at 4:33 AM and within minutes, I had a “formula” or maybe it’s an “equation” but it’s as simple as 1, 2 and 3 and we all have the power to harness what might be one of the secrets to a long and healthy and vibrant and loving and meaningful life. There’s also the birds. You can listen to them, too. Bradley [ https://youtu.be/0ZfBbiUMbIA ]

re161: Could these 14 minutes help you heal your chronic disease?
Greetings from Driebergen, Oh, they’re not my 14 minutes. They’re from a woman named Sarah. I’m 7 minutes as an introduction to her. She’s 14. 21 minutes. Worth a listen? Bradley [ https://youtu.be/0YSAbwETbjc ] [ https://youtu.be/NLSQxWSGDCA ]

re160: What is it that you don’t have to do but you would like to do?
Greetings from Driebergen, There is often an underlying pressure from “society” ?about what we’re “supposed” to (have to) ?do. ?What if I ?gave you an out, a free pass, the permission to not do something you don’t want to do (but think you have to). ?I’m going to set you free. Make it a great Thursday. Love and fireworks, Bradley [ https://youtu.be/TuCP5hKxGQw ]

re158: Behind the Scenes at Bradley Charbonneau, Author Inc. — Narrating an Audiobook
DO Do you dig deeper into your best work? How can you get the most out of your good ideas? Do you take another perspective on your work? For example, in the writing world, writing and narrating are very different. It comes into your brain in a different way. Seems super simple–and it is–but it’s powerful. DON’T DO What are you doing where you shouldn’t be digging deeper? What don’t you like? What are you not so good at? Can you farm it out? Can you just not do it? re157: When you go to the future and look back, this is what you hope you have lots of.
Greetings from Driebergen, Here’s a personal invitation to join me in “creating an experience” and do something crazy this year. Let’s kick off the end of Covid (it’s ending soon, right?) by going out of our comfort zone and writing a (super short) book. People ask what we’re “creating” at Worst Book Ever? We’re not creating “authors” but we’re creating experiences. This is me inviting you to “experience” something different this year and let’s do it together, from May 1 to 11th, and have a bit of a blast. Go to worst.repossible.com to check it out. Use the coupon code: THUNDER to save 25%. Maybe we haven’t seen each other for a while. Let’s do this crazy thing together. Just saying. It’s what I’ll be doing on May 1. I hope to see you inside! re156: When are you good enough?
Good evening from Driebergen! How good do you have to be? When do you know if you’re good enough? When do you know enough? When have you taken enough courses, read enough books, listened to enough podcasts and audiobooks and speeches and talks and presentations and then did it all yourself and taught others and learned more and earned another degree and … Tired yet? When? ?Oh, one more thing: ?those clients, those students? They also just need one thing. ?By the way… The power is on Thursdays. Just saying. Bradley BONUS: You get a quick tour of my boys’ school here in the woods in The Netherlands. [ https://youtu.be/FMth-0uW1sM ]

re155: What’s Weighing You Down?
It’s early Thursday morning. So early even Pepper isn’t awake. I’m reading the books from the just-graduated class of “Write Your Worst Book Ever.” They’re good. They’re terrible. They’re the WORST. But there’s a lightness in them, a playfulness, a sense of “lifting” that something has been removed (armor? a cage? ceilings?) and they are free. You can join us from May 1 to May 10, 2021, and if you use the coupon code “THUNDER,” you’ll save 25%. Come join us and break through the flood gates, through the ceilings, and lift up through your heart and up into your worst book ever. https://u.repossible.com/p/wbe/?coupon_code=THUNDER I thought the group promotion was over but it seems to still be functioning. re151: Thursday Thunder | S2E08 | Room Tone
When recording audiobooks, you need a separate audio file that is always playing alongside your voice recording. You can record your (quiet!) room sound or even find free downloads online for this purpose. I didn’t really understand it at first but it’s not the same as absolute silence. While recording a video for a course the other day, I hit record and before I got in front of the camera, I heard what a “racket” of noise there was in the background. It, of course, was, uh, you know, nature. I’d like 1-minute to be my “Room Tone.” [ https://youtu.be/omsodP8BxQs ]

It’s glittery and snowy outside and I’m feeling sparkly. I have a few questions for you–and a special offer on something. But it depends who you are, who I am, and how we’re connecting in this world. I’ll leave it at that for this week. Stay toasty! [ https://youtu.be/cHvr46KVyBA ]

re148: How “The Worst Summit Ever” turned into “The Best Summit Ever”
Remember a month ago? Back before we created the first Repossible Summit? Back then, I couldn’t talk about summits in terms of how many or how good (or even how bad) because I had never done one. Now we have. It was both the worst and the best–and it’s still the only. At least, until the 17th of February. But until then, I’m going to relish The Best Summit Ever. Are you looking to begin something for the first time? Maybe got a few of our favorite limiting beliefs to conquer? If you have a favorite limiting belief you’ve had success overcoming, reply to this email and we could have a chat about it for the upcoming summit: “The Worst & The First.” Until then, Stay warm. Do you just go for it or do you plan first? Are you a gardener or an architect?Do you just “get started and see what happens” or are you a planner? They’re not mutually exclusive. re145: How to ______ Your Worst _______ Ever
Yes, but this: It’s better than the one I didn’t do at allIt’s certainly more timely than the one I postponed (and never materialized)It’s better than the one I was thinking of doing (but never actually did) Yet, it’s also: Not as good as my next one (but the 2nd one wouldn’t exist without the 1st one)Pretty much guaranteed to not REMAIN the worst summit I’ve ever done (as I do more and more of them)Breaking down the barrier to fear that I, apparently, have had for 6 months It’s Thursday. There’s Thunder. The lightning hit 9 months ago when I wanted to do a summit. 9 months later, the thunder rumbles me into action. Who said that … “Lightning is overrated. Who will you be at the end of 2021? ? ?You know how we “wait” ?for the light at the end of the tunnel? ?What if, just toy with me here for a minute, it’s not a light at the end but what if that light is us at the end? ?What if it’s not the end of the tunnel but the beginning of the opening? ? ?Not the end of the year? ? ?But the beginning of the next? ? ?Happy New Year. ?It’s going to be what we make it–what we make ourselves each week of this year to transform us into who we will become on December 31, 2021. re143: Accept the Unexpected Gifts
Sign up to get weekly rumbles of energy weekly in your inbox: https://tt.repossible.com. * * * With a special guest appearance on the show: FEAR. I was all set to talk about how this is the 53rd Thursday of the year and how unexpected that was (seeing that I thought there were always only 52 weeks in a year). Rather than doing the math or consulting a calendar-ologist, I chalked it up to “Accepting an Unexpected Gift.” Yep, 2020 was terrible in so many ways, but there must be some diamonds in the rough. What are yours? The first one that comes to mind for me is the Repossible Retreat in Bali 2022. However… As I was prepping my recording studio (AKA “The Woods”), several fireworks exploded in the distance. It’s Dec. 31 and The Netherlands is going to explode tonight. Pepper is exponentially disproportionately scared of fireworks (and Thunder–but we won’t talk about that too much on the show called Thursday Thunder). Yet where are his fears based? What reality is there in the loud booms? 1.) Are they traumas from his past? 2.) Is it inherent in dogs to be scared of loud, rumbling explosions? (To the point of trembling and panting?) 3.) Is it the fear of the unknown? So I’ll head home, turn on some music (with some bass!) and he can hide out snuggled at our feet or under the stairs. But what about us humans? I’m going to bulldoze over #1 and #2 above and get right to the one I think we have the best chance of overcoming: #3: the fear of the unknown. What do you fear in 2021? Which fears are based on nothing? Which ones exist only in your head? Which of them could we crush underneath the soles of our feet on this fine Thursday, December 31, 2020, to never allow back into our conscious selves again? Could this be both “An Unexpected Gift” and “Fear” wrapped into one little 7-minute episode of Thursday Thunder? Might the gift be not allowing that fear past the gates we enter when we step foot into the new year? What’s your unfounded fear for 2021 we don’t let come with us into the new year? I’ll tell you mine below. Then, only if you like, only if you’d like to get it off your chest, to remove that weight from your shoulders, write yours in there. I won’t share it with anyone. But state it, write it down, make it “real” for a second and then let’s let it remain here in 2020. [ https://youtu.be/OMGDn9bh6Yk ]

re142: Probably the best gift I’ve ever given my kids.
They probably won’t jump for joy. They might not thank me immediately. But someday, down the road, maybe WAY down the road, they might look back to this Christmas and say, “Gee, that was the best Christmas gift ever.” Merry Christmas. [ https://youtu.be/vraoByL_3cU ]

re141: Bali 2022
The “Repossible Retreat” is planned for 2022 in Bali, Indonesia. Are you coming? What are your “big ideas” for 2021? Or even 2022?

re140: Rising above the noise of the cesspool towards clarity and intuition
Going deep, going wild in this episode as I turn on the microphone directly after a powerful meditation.

re139: Hot off the mic: Repossible Book #14 chapter from the audiobook: SHARE.
This is a bonus episode of the podcast to share the freshly-minted audiobook chapter from the Repossible audiobook: Roadmap to Repossible Stop #14: SHARE. Here’s a video from last week’s podcast about how SHARE came to me in a meditation download. [ https://youtu.be/3e2M2ATUN7Y ]

re138: Share
This just in. Literally. Book #14 in the Repossible series will be titled: SHARE I’m doing a 28-day meditation challenge this month and on Day 2, this came downloaded into my brain: SHARE. We’re at the 14th step in the Roadmap to Repossible and it’s all about telling your story, sharing your success, and motivating and inspiring those a few steps behind you. We’ll be collecting Repossible Stories at share.repossible.com. Got one already for us? Let us know and we’ll showcase your success. On the path and struggling? Awesome! We want to hear about that, too. I’m actually a little surprised that this title, this book, didn’t come to me earlier but hey, I’m just MC at this event, I’m just the guy with the keys to the conference center, I’m just the messenger. I can’t wait to collect and share your stories of Repossible adventures. If you’d like to hear the chapter from the (revised yesterday) Repossible audiobook, it’s here in a bonus Repossible podcast episode. Do you already have a story from your own Road to Repossible? Or you’d like to listen to someone else’s story of success? We’re going to be collecting them at share.repossible.com. [ https://youtu.be/3e2M2ATUN7Y ]

re137: Thanksgiving: From the Passive Audience to the Active Participant
From the guest lodge in the Highlands of Chimanimani, Zimbabwe, it’s Thanksgiving. I was asked to give a speech about Thanksgiving. But not a regular Thanksgiving, amybe there was a year that it was different. We’re going to take a trip back in time to a faraway country in southeastern Africa. We’re going to take a trip from the “Passive Audience” to the “Active Participant.” It’s absolutely possible to cruise through our own lives as the “Passive Audience.” We watch and we take notes, comment and suggest. Yet if we’re the spectator of our own life, who’s driving? Have you ever noticed when you’re the passenger you don’t really pay attention to where you’ve been or how you got to where you are now?
