I am certainly not anti-safety but I do have an issue with what this industry tells people to do....to be "safe". Emergency funds not keeping up with inflation, idol equity sitting inside of homes not earning compound interest and the big one: only using securities and calling that "diversification" all hurt today's retirement plans.
