Like Moses, we are forced to flee into the wilderness where we are left searching for hope and meaning in life. All throughout the Bible the wilderness is a place of refining. A refining of who we are, what we value, and what we believe. Before God sends Moses to Pharaoh, He sends him into the wilderness.
