Show Notes

Today's headlines tell of two men whose stories reflect opposite sides of the same terror coin.

The good side is illustrated by Jason Spindler. He survived 9/11 only to be killed in a terror attack in Kenya. Fortunately, Mr. Spindler was late to work on September 11, 2001. Before he reached his office at the World Trade Center, he saw the first plane crash into the North Tower. This experience changed his life and sent him on a path to do good, advising people in Third World countries how to develop businesses that could sustain them and make them less vulnerable to terrorists. That's what he was doing in Nairobi, Kenya, until he fell victim to a terrorist attack himself.

Hasher Jallal Taheb was an American who had become radicalized, a lone wolf wannabe terrorist, who planned an attack on the White House, when he couldn't get a passport to travel to ISIS territory. Fortunately, someone tipped off the authorities before he could carry out his plot. Hear how the FBI stopped him as the attack was imminent.
