On Today’s episode of Big Trouble in Little Vagina, in anticipation for our upcoming interview with the talented, handsome and oh so sexy Ryan Driller, I figured a number of you out there might be like me and were hotly and excitedly counting down the minutes. My little venture to Adam & Eve toys didn’t do much to curtail my eagerness… in fact, it may have exacerbated the problem; but I have plenty of batteries, so that shouldn’t be an issue. But it got me thinking… maybe you listeners out there might be craving a little… erm… well… release; and maybe you’re not quite sure where to begin.
So I thought this would be a perfect opportunity for us to talk about purchasing an adult toy. Now I know many of you imagine you’ll have to creep into some seedy adult store with blacked-out winders and flashing lights. And there under the flashing neon sign proclaiming XXX-Adults Only, you’d glance around hoping no one you know sees you as you quickly fly into the store. There, with the creepy guy behind the counter reading a girly magazine, smoking an unfiltered Marlboro cigarette you’d see the looming wall of phallic monstrosities… ah the wall of sex toys… it can all be so very overwhelming. You’d quickly grab the least intimidating toy and approach the counter filled with trepidation, pay with cash – because you don’t want the credit card company to know you’re a degenerate and rush home with your brown bagged purchase. Once home, you’d find a crappy toy made of questionable material that probably won’t last you more than a week – that’s even if you have the courage to try it.
