Show Notes

With the recent discovery of a certain “found” dialogue of a current Presidential candidate, it’s got me thinking about respect, and I thought it was a good time for us to look at personal respect and more importantly, respect for others. So on today’s episode of Big Trouble in Little Vagina, we’re talking about what Aretha Franklin so eloquently stated… R E S P E C T, find out what it means to me. That’s right boys and girls, we’re talking respect. Now before anyone gets offended, I want to state for the record that I believe in respecting all views, we all have something to contribute to this discussion, so bear in mind that everything I’m saying is my personal opinion. You may have a differing opinion, and in my book… that’s okay too. What works for me, may not work for you, but I’m willing to see both sides of the coin and agree to accept your side of things too.

As my mother has said many times, and I think holds true for this particular discussion, opinions are like a***oles… we all have one, and generally, they’re full of s**t. So you have your s**t, and I’ll have mine. With that in mind let’s jump into today’s topic and see if we can’t agree on some s**t. So before we get too far into the topic, I’m sure you’re asking yourself…where does Nicole stand on those Trump comments? Well, I’ll tell you how I feel about them. First off, it’s no secret that Trump has been a womanizer for many years, and generally, most men that are womanizers are also misogynists. So really, these comments don’t come as any big surprise for me.

The thing that ruffles my fur? Well, first off, lots of things. For example, it seems convenient how a conversation from 2005 – you know, 11 years ago, has any bearing on today. I mean, let’s be serious here people, is it any revelation that Trump acts like he owns everything? For f**k’s sake he puts his stupid name on everything. Also, is it really a new and shocking idea that he likes beautiful women? I mean, seriously?? He BOUGHT the Ms. America pageant, I assumed it was to find his next wife, but seriously, no one else thought the same thing? Then when the women of America weren’t having it, he bought the Ms. Universe pageant… How stupid are we?
