On Today’s episode of The World In My Eyes, I have a few things that I want to touch on, the first of which being the way the US and even state Governments treat it’s citizens. I know that seems a bit vague, but I assure you listeners, there’s a story behind today’s episode, so I’m going to jump right in, because we have so much to cover today and I know many of you are going to be able to see yourselves, or maybe someone you know in today’s topic.
The founders of our great country had great concern for fairness in both government and law. In fact, the writers of the Declaration of Independence expressed this concern explicitly when they wrote about equality:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. . . .
