Welcome heathens welcome to the world of the weird and unexplained.  I’m your host, Nicole Delacroix and together, we will be investigating stories about the things that go bump in the night, monsters lurking under your bed or deep in the forest, that unknown creature lurking just out of sight and frighteningly imagined creatures, ghosts, supernatural beings and even some unsolved mysteries.  So, sit back, grab your favorite drink, and prepare to be transported to today's dark Enigma.... 

 And on today’s Dark enigma I decided to shake it up a bit.  So, with that said, we will still be playing our drinking game and as you know, the drinking game is only for those of us that are at home and have nowhere else to go tonight.  The choice of libation, my darlings, is always yours, so choose your poison accordingly… Alright, now for the game part how about every time I say Ghost or Haunting that will be a single shot and every time I say Himalayas, that will be a double shot.  Now that the business end is out of the way we can jump headfirst into today’s dark enigma… so grab your favorite Sherpa and over-filled backpack as we jump into Mysterious Ghosts of the Himalayas

When one thinks of ghosts and hauntings, one is perhaps most likely to conjure up images of dilapidated old houses, abandoned, feral buildings, lonely rural roads, or dark, sinister forests. Yet it seems that ghostly phenomena are not confined to merely this common notion of what haunted places should be. At times, there come such cases from the far flung corners of the world that may not match the traditional ideas of hauntings, and one such place is certainly the Himalayas. 

The Himalayas is one of the most well-known mountain ranges in the world. Located on the Indian subcontinent, the Himalayas are home to nine of the ten highest mountains on earth, including the Mega Mountains Everest and K2, among others. And while this range may be well known for mysteries such as the Yeti, it is not a place typically associated with ghosts, yet here in the cold wilds there are accounts of specters and entities just as spooky as anywhere else.
