Episode 3430: Dark Enigma - Mysteries and Mayhem in Hungary’s Mysterious Labyrinth and Strange Paranormal Going’s on at Romania’s Mystical Bucegi Mountains

Welcome heathens welcome to the world of the weird and unexplained.  I’m your host, Nicole Delacroix and together, we will be investigating stories about the things that go bump in the night, monsters lurking under your bed or deep in the forest, that unknown creature lurking just out of sight and frighteningly imagined creatures, ghosts, supernatural beings and even some unsolved mysteries.  So, sit back, grab your favorite drink, and prepare to be transported to today's dark Enigma.... 

And on today’s Dark enigma well with the holiday and all I thought we could do a double feature today.  So, with that said, we will still be playing our drinking game and as you know, the drinking game is only for those of us that are at home and have nowhere else to go tonight.  The choice of libation is yours, so choose your poison accordingly… Alright, now for the game part how about every time I say mystery that will be a single shot and every time I say Caves or Mountains, that will be a double shot.  Now that the business end is out of the way we can jump headfirst into today’s dark enigma… and a double shot of that sweet, sweet Eastern European wildness as we head to the lands of Gypsies, Dracula and all things mysterious.  Our First feature will be Mysteries and Mayhem in Hungary’s Mysterious Labyrinth with a side shot for our second feature of Strange Paranormal Going’s on at Romania’s Mystical Bucegi Mountains.  And somewhere in there I’m going to be trying out my best Dracula impression, so hang on Heathens, we’re in for a bumpy ride… so let’s head to Hungary

There are some places in this world that seem to perfectly encompass mysteries both ancient and modern. Historical oddities reach up through time and meld with those of the present, generating a continuum of puzzling enigmas and high strangeness reaching back into the blurry recesses of time and out into the uncertain future. One such location can be found in the country of Hungary, situated within its largest city. It is an awe-inspiring, vast labyrinth of darkened, winding passages stretched out within the bowels of the earth under one of the nation’s most treasured historical spots, and through which have long echoed a brooding history punctuated by curious mysteries that have continued up to the modern day. Here is a place that offers up a strange brew mixing sinister history, general weirdness, supernatural menace, and ominous tales of government conspiracies and cover-ups. Let us journey down into the inky black depths of this mysterious labyrinth.
