Is Covid19 'good for the terrorists’? Spoiler alert: The answer is YES.
And you can’t imagine how. There are intriguing parallels between
the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918 and our current Coronavirus
pandemic that relate to terrorism. For example, the Spanish Flu
was followed by anarchy and the Wall Street bombing, and an
Anti-Mask League was formed in the U.S. to protest harsh
mandates.
The risk of infection by Covid19 wouldn’t worry a suicide bomber on
the way to attack, but imagine some terrorists ‘working from home’.
Just like us, they have more time on their hands, but unlike us,
instead of binging on Netflix, they’re disseminating propaganda,
radicalizing more recruits, and taking online chemistry courses to
learn to build a better bomb.
The pandemic is also encouraging terrorists to look towards
bioterrorism more seriously because of the dramatic and sudden
way in which it has turned society on its head. They couldn’t have
written a more devastating script to forward their agenda. Hear
how Coronavirus has inspired terrorists to act now before the
total Apocalypse, how the psychological damage it has caused
has made us more susceptible to radicalization, how it is
weakening Counterterrorism efforts, and much more.
