Show Notes

As the trial begins for alleged accomplices to the Charlie Hebdo
and Kosher market attacks, controversial cartoons of the
Prophet Mohammed have reappeared on the magazine's cover.
The editors have taken this risk because they are concerned
that France and the rest of the world have forgotten the
message of “Je Suis Charlie!” (I am Charlie). After the tragic
massacre of Charlie Hebdo editors, cartoonists and other staff,
this slogan united people in support of freedom of speech and
freedom of the press.

This episode of The Terrorist Therapist Show takes you back
to January 2015, and reminds you of what happened and
why. It also puts the 3 terrorists who perpetrated these attacks
on the couch: Cherif and Said Kouachi, the two brothers who
attacked Charlie Hebdo, and Amedy Coulibaly who attacked
the Kosher market.

The first printing of this issue that just came out has already
sold out, so they are printing more. And the backlash to the
republishing of the Prophet Mohammed cartoons has already
begun, with Iran condemning it as a provocation, and marchers
in Pakistan chanting, “Stop barking, French dogs!” The trial is
expected to go until mid-November, so there will undoubtedly be
more demonstrations, but hopefully no new attacks. Listen now
to the whole story, and ask yourself what you would have done
