9/11 Terrorist Mastermind To Choose Head of CIA?

Insanity: Khalid Shaikh Mohammed wants to stop Gina Haspel’s confirmation - and 'inmates running the asylum' want to let him!The terrorist mastermind of 9/11, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, is currently imprisoned in Guantanamo, awaiting his appeal to be heard against being put to death. He has asked to be heard at the confirmation hearing of Gina Haspel before the Senate Intelligence Hearing. Mohammed undoubtedly wants to drop a bombshell about her alleged role in torturing terrorists. If his request isn’t insane enough, his attorneys are pushing for it to happen.

Mohammed was captured in 2003 and tortured, though it has not been reported that it was Gina Haspel who directly tortured him. Nor has it been proven that we did not get some worthwhile information from him in this process.
Has everyone gone mad? Are we in such denial of 9/11 that we think it is reasonable to allow the mastermind of this attack to tell Congress who should be head of the CIA - a body who is entrusted with protecting us from terrorists?
