I lay out the core concepts of A Manual For Living, the amazing little book by Roman philosopher Epictetus; in particular the translation by Sharon Lebell. The main idea is that we must accept all that is out of our control, take full control of what is in our power, and determine which is which by that most vital of things: wisdom. Wisdom is the highest goal.
