But back on January 6th, I was somewhat surprised to see so much Christian imagery and signage at the Capitol Hill siege. David Cassidy, a PCA pastor in Franklin, TN, wrote an incredible tweet thread recently on Evangelicals, conspiracy theories, and Christian nationalism. We disagree theologically about plenty, but I respect the hell out of what he's doing, and this was a fantastic conversation. We need more leaders like David if this largely-lost generation of Baby Boomer Evangelicals is to be saved from themselves and brought back to God.
