Show Notes

ever meet a woman and feel like you’ve known her forever? no words needed — just tears.

in honor of international women's month, i sit down with my new friend, dr. lisa tan. we first met at an emmy's party, and regardless of all the glitz and noise surrounding us, we instantly connected. when she told me her daughter’s name was also skylar, i lost it. we both teared up — total strangers, yet with an undeniable understanding. that “i see you, i got you” moment — we’ve all had it.

this episode is for all the women in my life, and in yours, who just get us. <3

today, i sit down with dr. lisa, a red carpet coach, podcaster, and transformation expert. she shares her journey of overcoming challenges and rewiring her brain to thrive — regardless of what life throws her way.

at 27, it’s easy to feel stuck when life doesn’t go as planned. but dr. lisa’s story proves we can rewrite our stories. she dives into how our brains change when we embrace the pivot mindset, creating space for a more empowered version of ourselves.

lisa shares her story of navigating personal and professional challenges, including being thrown into chaos with the health issues of her children and unexpected life changes. but instead of staying stuck, she embraced the power of pivoting, rewiring her mindset, and redefining success on her own terms.

we dive deep into:

  • how dr. lisa transformed her life by rewiring her brain in moments of crisis
  • what happens to your brain when you embrace change and choose to pivot
  • the real connection between being unapologetically yourself and how it empowers other women to do the same

lisa's journey is a testament to resilience and the reminder that, regardless of what happens, we all have the ability to step into our power.
