This Advent series, Prepare the Way, is a two-part journey of anticipation and action as we ready our hearts for Jesus’ arrival. In the first part, we consider who this Holy One is and what His coming Kingdom will look like—a Kingdom that turns the world on its head and extends to all people. In the second part, like those who received John’s call to prepare, we too are invited to ask, “What then shall we do?” By slowing down into the practices of generosity, simplicity, and contentment, we make space in our lives to welcome Jesus, mirror God’s heart, and embody His Kingdom—foretastes of the joy to come.
