Advent means “arrival.” It’s a season where we anticipate the arrival of Jesus, the Savior of the world, at Christmas.
This Advent, we’re focusing on becoming a people of prayer and action, in response to the God who hears our prayers and takes action. We join Mary’s famous prayer—the Magnificat of Luke 1—where she magnifies in prayer the God who has taken action in Christ to rescue the world.
This week Pastor Warren Williams continues in our Advent series teaching out of Luke 1:53-55.
