Genesis 3 tells the story of mankind’s rebellion against God. Made for close communion with God, we went our own way by seizing control. As a result, our world exists under a curse. However, the hope of this passage is that God takes the initiative to restore us, and the whole world to himself. His gracious presence, and the justice he brings in Jesus, is our hope.
