This race, however, was another hot topic of controversy as Oliver Bearman had quite the crash after approaching Franco Colapinto at a rapid pace. This brought to question the regulations once again due to the speed differences with the battery deployment/harvesting methods. Alex Palou takes his 2nd win on the season in IndyCar and moves to within 2 points of championship leader Kyle Kirkwood. But, according to the broadcasters, Palou has been out of the championship fight after his crash in Phoenix. *insert eye roll*We also recap Moto GP and its race at COTA.Coming up this weekend: Super Formula is at Motegi and GT World Challenge Asia is at Sepang.

Ep 184S5 Ep 11: Is New Better?
Welcome to our motorsports podcast where we discuss F1, IndyCar, IMSA, NASCAR, our own racing adventures, and some other adventures!Denny Hamlin gets his 61st NASCAR Cup Series win at Vegas.Indycar once again shines as the race of the weekend where there was strategy and hard side by side racing at a big shiny new venue, Arlington, Texas! Alex Palou took on the Andretti fleet this past weekend where he came up just short only to Kyle Kirkwood. A bold strategy put Will Power on the final podium spot and Marcus Ericsson finished 4th for Andretti after starting on the pole but had some misfortunes in pit lane.Formula 1 had it's 2nd race of the season. Kimi Antonelli gets his first F1 victory! Everyone is very happy for Kimi! However, this happiness is still overshadowed a bit by comments of many drivers that current F1 racing is like Mariokart. The drivers at the front are ok with the rules for now because they are winning after all but there is valid scrutiny about the form/type of racing we're seeing that the new rules/regulations have provided.Coming up this weekend: NASCAR is at Darlington, IMSA is at Sebring, and Max Verstappen heads to Germany to take part in NLS (the Nordschleife racing series).
