Fair Trade As Voyager approaches an area of space beyond Neelix's specialized knowledge, Neelix begins to become insecure about his role on the ship. He is so desperate to find a map and make himself useful that he makes some very bad decisions when he runs into a shady old friend. What's this rebinge thing? S3 Ep 54RBVOY 054 – Macrocosm (S3E12)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Macrocosm Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E12: Macrocosm. In this episode, Neelix and Janeway return from an away mission to a disabled and seemingly abandoned Voyager. Macrocosm Janeway and Neelix return from a diplomatic mission where it seems that Neelix was the only one able to grasp the complexities of an alien language. Everything seems successful and fun until they realize Voyager isn't at the agreed upon rendezvous point. When they do eventually catch up with the ship, they find it adrift and unresponsive. Janeway instantly transitions into Action Janeway by getting down to her tank top and tooling up. She's the last one left standing against an unusually large viruses that has taken over her ship. S3 Ep 53RBVOY 053 – The Q and the Grey (S3E11)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: The Q and the Grey Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E11: The Q and the Grey. In this episode the Q Continuum has plunged into civil war and somehow Voyager is stuck right in the middle of it (well, mostly Janeway). John de Lancie is back as Q and frequent Trek guest star Suzie Plakson is also back, but this time she also plays Q. The Q and the Grey Q surprises Janeway in her quarters with a ridiculous plan of seduction. There's much eye rolling and banter before we learn that the Q Continuum is at war with itself and Q pulls Janeway into the battle saying she can help. Only Janeway seems interested in a peaceful settlement as these ridiculously powerful beings threaten to destroy the entire galaxy. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. In each episode we discuss "Women in the Future" and "Janeway's Leadership Corner" while over-analyzing everything. S3 Ep 52RBVOY 052 – Warlord (S3E10)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Warlord Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E10: Warlord. We go from last week's classic Trek time travel trope to a classic body take over trope! In this episode, a 200 year old warlord takes over Kes's body and Janeway is going to do whatever it takes to get her back. Warlord The crew tries to save the crew of a damaged ship, but as usual things go very badly. One of the aliens dies but transfers his consciousness into Kes. He immediately learns how to use Kes's dangerous abilities and goes about getting his old job as autarch back. (We also had to look that word up.) What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. In each episode we discuss "Women in the Future" and "Janeway's Leadership Corner" while over-analyzing everything. S3 Ep 51RBVOY 051 – Future’s End Part II (S3E9)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Future's End Part II Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E9: Future's End Part II. Ed Begley, Jr and Sarah Silverman return as guest stars in the final episode of this two-part time travel story. Voyager is still in the 90's and they're still trying to stop the future from being destroyed. Future's End, Part II Back in 1996 Janeway and Chakotay figure out that Starling (Ed Begley, Jr.) is behind the time ship theft. They try to convince him to do the right thing (as is normal in Star Trek), but he is not terribly interested and continues to use stolen technology to thwart their efforts. He breaks away from them and sends Tom and Rain (Sarah Silverman) on a wild goose chase. Meanwhile, B'Elanna and Chakotay are caught up in a different drama when survivalists/conspiracy-theorists take them hostage in a basement somewhere in Arizona. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S3E8: Future's End Part I where Voyager gets thrown back in time. Next time... Join us next time for S3E10: Warlord. S3 Ep 50RBVOY 050 – Future’s End Part I (S3E8)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Future's End Part I Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E8: Future's End Part I. It's been awhile since we've had some time shenanigans, so here it comes! In this episode, the Voyager crew heads back to 1996 earth where we have some very 90's interactions (and costumes) with some very 90's guest stars. Ed Begley, Jr and Sarah Silverman guest star. Future's End, Part I The Voyager crew gets pulled back in time when someone from the future tries to kill them. It's very confusing (as all time travel episodes are). Some future technology shows up in the 1990's and Janeway and crew must team up to stop a techie genius from destroying the future. Why are techie geniuses always jerks? What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. In each episode we discuss "Women in the Future" and "Janeway's Leadership Corner" while over-analyzing everything. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S3E7: Sacred Ground where Janeway has a crisis of faith. Next time... Join us next time for S3E9: Future's End Part II. S3 Ep 49RBVOY 049 – Sacred Ground (S3E7)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Sacred Ground Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E7: Sacred Ground. In this episode, Captain Janeway is forced to confront her devotion to science vs her lack of faith in more spiritual answers when she finds herself in a race to save Kes's life. Becky Ann Baker, Harry Groener, Keene Curtis, Parley Baer and Estelle Harris guest star. Sacred Ground Kes and Neelix wander off from a tour group into a sacred shrine where Kes is zapped with some kind of energy field. When the doctor is unable to help and no scientific answer presents itself, Janeway decides to embark on a quest to speak to the planet's spirits. She doesn't enter the quest with the the purest of intentions (assuming it's not really spiritual in nature) and is ultimately forced to face her lack of faith in anything but scientific facts. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S3E6: Remember where B'Elanna has some sexy dreams tinged with a little fascism. Next time... Join us next time for S3E8: Future's End Part I. S3 Ep 48RBVOY 048 – Remember (S3E6)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Remember Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E6: Remember. In this episode, we encounter some new aliens (the Enarans) who seem nice but are hiding a treacherous history. Eugene Roche, Eve Brenner and Bruce Davison guest star. Remember When Voyager starts working with some new aliens from the Delta Quadrant - everything seems friendly and jovial. However, B'Elanna starts having intense dreams which turn out to be implanted memories coming from someone in the telepathic group of alien visitors. At first it's seems fun, but when the story turns intense, a dark truth from the Enaran's past is uncovered. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S3E5: False Profits where we have an unfortunate encounter with some Ferengi. Next time... Join us next time for S3E7: Sacred Ground. S3 Ep 47RBVOY 047 – False Profits (S3E5)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: False Profits Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E5: False Profits. In this episode we draw on an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation called The Price (s3e8) where some Ferengi disappear into a wormhole. Well, somehow in the vastness of space, Voyager manages to bump into those exact dudes called Arridor (Dan Shor) and Kol (Leslie Jordan). And since they're Ferengi they've managed to land on a planet and start taking advantage of the locals. We have some typical Ferengi "humor," but ultimately we find this episode quite frustrating! False Profits Voyager finds the remnants of a moving wormhole and starts building a magnet to attract it (don't ask). Meanwhile, they find that some Ferengi have already come through the wormhole from the Alpha Quadrant and are currently milking the under-developed alien population of their money. Sounds about right for Ferengi! The Voyager crew gets distracted by the Ferengi shenanigans and manages to jeopardize a legitimate way home. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S3E4: The Swarm where the doctor loses his memory. Next time... Join us next time for S3E6: Remember. S3 Ep 46RBVOY 046 – The Swarm (S3E4)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: The Swarm Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E4: The Swarm. In this episode the doctor starts losing his memory and Robert Picardo not only gets to sing in this episode, but he does double hologram duty. Meanwhile, Janeway is being reckless (again). The Swarm The doctor takes up opera singing, but ultimately has trouble remembering his lines. Nobody seems alarmed by this until he later starts forgetting how to be a doctor! Meanwhile, Janeway and crew don't want to go around the space of an unknown (and deadly) alien race. So without a working doctor, we just jump right in!? What are we thinking??? What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. In each episode we discuss "Women in the Future" and "Janeway's Leadership Corner" while over-analyzing everything. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S3E3: The Chute where Tom and Harry find themselves in a space dungeon. Next time... Join us next time for S3E5: False Profits. Be sure and join our Facebook group and Follow Rebinge It on Threads and Instagram @RebingeIt! Email us at [email protected].

S3 Ep 45RBVOY 045 – The Chute (S3E3)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: The Chute Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E3: The Chute. In this episode Tom and Harry find themselves in a dungeon-like prison with little hope of escape or survival. The Chute Tom and Harry are thrown in prison by the Akritirians when accused of a terrorist bombing! Another shore leave gone wrong! And bad news, this isn't so much a prison as it is a thunder dome where the prisoners police themselves and kill for survival. Harry and Tom don't last very long in this brutal environment and to make matters worse there's a guy trying to get them to read his manifesto. I mean how could things get worse? What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. In each episode we discuss "Women in the Future" and "Janeway's Leadership Corner" while over-analyzing everything. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S3E2: Flashback where Tuvok remembers he was somehow in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Next time... Join us next time for S3E4: The Swarm. S3 Ep 44RBVOY 044 – Flashback (S3E2)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Flashback Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E2: Flashback. In this episode Tuvok flashes back to his time serving on Sulu's ship in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. George Takai (Captain Sulu) and Grace Lee Whitney (Commander Rand) guest star along with some cool effects from the movie! Flashback When Tuvok starts having some flashbacks to a (potentially) repressed memory, he mind-melds with Janeway and somehow they end up on the Excelsior in 1991! The two of them have to untangle his memories and figure out what is going on with Tuvok's brain! Be sure to listen to our previous episode S3E1: Basics, Part II where we rid ourselves of Seska and the Kazan (and that pesky baby). Next time... Join us next time for S3E3: The Chute. S3 Ep 43RBVOY 043 – Basics, Part II (S3E1)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Basics, Part II Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S3E1: Basics, Part II. We are back! In this episode Lon Suder (guest star Brad Dourif), the Doctor and Tom Paris try to retake Voyager. Seska (Martha Hackett) and Culluh (Anthony De Longis) get a little too comfortable with their prize and Starfleet is about to come roaring back! Basics, Part II Seska and her idiot boyfriend think they've won, but never fear, the crew will not give up. Tom Paris is still alive and working with some allies in an attempt to take back Voyager. He gets a secret message to the Doctor who is trying to keep Suder from falling apart as they execute a complex plan. Meanwhile down on the planet (aka Southern California), the crew has run into some obstacles. Not only have we managed to wake a sleeping monster (I mean it's a bit blurry, but it seems deadly enough to be called a monster), but we've also irritated the locals. This episode has some very silly nonsense (Chakotay rescuing a local from a lava stream, for example), but we wrap up Seska and kick the season off with a bang. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S2E27: Season 2 Wrap Up where we complain about some crappy episodes but we also praise Tim Russ and Kate Mulgrew. Next time... S2 Ep 41RBVOY 041 – Basics, Part I (S2E26)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Basics, Part I Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E26: Basics, Part I. In this episode Seska is back and one of her wild plans finally works. Repeat characters Seska (Martha Hackett), Culluh (Anthony De Longis) and Lon Suder (Brad Dourif) are back to close out season 2. There is also a brief return of Chakotay's dad Kolopak (Henry Darrow). Basics, Part I Seska finally gets her wish and for some reason the Voyager crew is absolutely shocked. Despite numerous warnings we find ourselves completely unprepared for Seska's lies and devious behavior. She manages to lure Voyager into Kazon space where they are pecked to death by Kazon ducks. Lon Suder briefly reappears to try and convince Janeway that he's doing better and can contribute to the ship - however, this does not go well. What's this rebinge thing? S2 Ep 40RBVOY 040 – Resolutions (S2E25)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Resolutions Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E25: Resolutions. In this episode Janeway and Chakotay are stranded together for what might be a very long time. But never fear, it's really only about 46 minutes. This episode's guest star is a random monkey that Janeway keeps trying to befriend. He is not credited. Resolutions Chakotay and Janeway contract a virus grounding them on a lush but dangerous planet. With no cure for their illness in sight, Janeway sends Voyager on its way back home (which causes some real trouble in the remaining crew). On the planet, Janeway works on curing the virus while Chakotay works on making their new home a more comfortable place. Their uncertain future inevitably leads to some longing looks and sexy hand-holding. Very PG. Very Trek. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S2E24: Tuvix where we create a mashup of Neelix and Tuvok (but don't get too attached). Next time... Join us next time for S2E26: Basics, Part I. S2 Ep 39RBVOY 039 – Tuvix (S2E24)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Tuvix Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E24: Tuvix. In this episode two crew members are merged in a transporter accident, leaving Janeway with a moral conundrum. It's a Starfleet mashup! Tom Wright guest stars as Tuvix. Tuvix When a transporter accident merges Neelix and Tuvok into a single new creature, the crew is forced to adapt to a new colleague. While Tuvix is affable and competent (and his uniform is cool), he is a new being who exists at the expense of Tuvok and Neelix. Tuvix pleads for his life as Janeway prepares to make an impossible decision. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. Do they listen to the warnings and just leave them be? They do not. Does it all go horribly wrong? It does. Michael McKean guest stars as a creepy and murderous clown. The Thaw The crew finds some aliens stuck in stasis and decides to help (did they not see Space Seed?) Anyway...we send Harry and B'Elanna in to investigate and find the three aliens trapped in a weird world where a creepy clown is the manifestation of all of their fears. The clown can read their minds and has quite a stranglehold on anyone entering his realm. But never fear, he's come up against a bigger brain who isn't controlled by fear. And that brain is named Janeway. They are afraid of a monster called the Morrok who they say takes children in the night - while this story doesn't concern Tuvok, he is very surprised to find the children are terrified of their own people. Meanwhile, Janeway meets the head of the Drayans and finds her to be cool to Janeway's attempts to negotiate and communicate. When Voyager tries to rescue Tuvok, negotiations sour and the true nature of the children is revealed. What's this rebinge thing? S2 Ep 36RBVOY 036 – Deadlock (S2E21)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Deadlock Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E21: Deadlock. In this episode Janeway is in for some serious trouble when Voyager is somehow duplicated yet the two ships are sharing the same anti-matter. Janeway is about to have a very bad day while Ensign Wildman (played by Nancy Hower) finally gives birth (twice). Deadlock When Voyager passes through a plasma drift while hiding from the Vidiians, the ship is somehow duplicated. The Janeways work together to try and rejoin the two ships into one but the evil Vidiians have other ideas. S2 Ep 35RBVOY 035 – Investigations (S2E20)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Investigations Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E20: Investigations. In this episode Tom's insubordination finally comes to a head and Neelix sort of invents YouTube (or morning shows in space). Martha Hackett makes a brief but memorable appearance as Seska. And we also get the story wrap-up of Jiminy Jonas whose real name is Mike!???? Jonas is played by Raphael Sbarge. Investigations Tom leaves the ship and Starfleet behind which upsets Neelix on the very same day he starts a closed-circuit TV show about life on the ship. When Harry makes fun of his light-hearted show, Neelix decides to become an Investigative journalist instead. This leads to him uncovering Tuvok and Janeway's secret plan involving Tom and the Kazon. This is a fun episode with a little Seska, a little snark, a little 90s journalism and an unexpected violent death! What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. S2 Ep 34RBVOY 034 – Lifesigns (S2E19)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Lifesigns Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E19: Lifesigns. In this episode we (checks notes) rescue a member of the serial killing race the Vidiians so the holographic doctor can have a girlfriend??? Remember when we said this show was weird? Susan Diol guest stars as Dr. Danara Pel. Lifesigns The doctor rescues a Vidiian woman and then somehow falls in love with her. This is a very strange episode where our holographic doctor creates a holographic girlfriend and then "parks" with her on Mars. I mean we can't make this stuff up, this is what happens. At the same time, Tom continues to follow a seemingly dark path of insubordination. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Death Wish Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E18: Death Wish. In this episode we welcome the Q continuum and John de Lancie to the Voyager universe! When the crew bumps into a different Q (played by Gerrit Graham), the Q we know (and love?) arrives to cause trouble. Death Wish The crew accidentally frees an imprisoned member of the Q continuum which puts them in the middle of a philosophical battle between very powerful alien beings. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. S2 Ep 32RBVOY 032 – Dreadnought (S2E17)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Dreadnought Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E17: Dreadnought. A mistake from B'Elanna's past comes back to haunt her. Dreadnought In this episode we bump into a Cardassian weapon from the Alpha Quadrant. While that is a surprise, it's an even bigger surprise that the weapon was programmed by B'Elanna and she is the only one who can stop it before it attacks a nearby planet. Janeway and Tuvok prepare to sacrifice Voyager if all other methods fail. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. S2 Ep 31RBVOY 031 – Meld (S2E16)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Meld Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E16: Meld. The roller coaster of Star Trek continues as we go from last week's wild Threshold to this week's very serious Meld. Tuvok does an ill-advised mind meld with an unstable Betazed and things go very badly. Guest star Brad Dourif plays the murderous crewman Lon Suder. Meld In this episode we waffle between a silly story going on in the holodeck where Tom is running an ill-advised betting pool to Tuvok investigating a murder and making some of his own bad decisions. Tuvok and the doctor quickly identify the murderer when a crewman turns up dead, but Tuvok begins to obsess about the motive behind the act. When he can't understand why crewman Suder committed this heinous act, Tuvok decides to try to get inside his mind. Well as you might expect, this does not go well and Tuvok begins to lose control of his emotions and his mind. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S2E15: Threshold where Tom and the captain make salamander babies in a senseless episode of Trek. Next time... S2 Ep 30RBVOY 030 – Threshold (S2E15)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Threshold Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E15: Threshold. It's finally here! We've arrived at the most infamous Voyager episode there is! I don't even need to tell you what it's about, you already know! Join our lively discussion with guest host Attiba Royster and check out his Instagram page here for details on his upcoming events. Threshold Tom, Harry and B'Elanna manage to break the warp 10 threshold and while this seems like good news, many bad things are about to happen. Tom actually dies, but then comes back to life and starts evolving into some kind of lizard (or time lord). This is one wild and weird ride. If you've not seen this episode, prepare yourself for some bad stuff (involving veins, a tongue and salamander babies). Be sure to listen to our previous episode S2E14: Alliances where Chakotay has another bad idea. Next time... Join us next time for S2E16: Meld as the Voyager roller coaster continues! S2 Ep 29RBVOY 029 – Alliances (S2E14)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Alliances Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E14: Alliances. In this episode, just when we think things can't get worse, they do! We somehow manage to make yet another enemy in the Delta Quadrant! What is with this place? Alliances Voyager is getting beat up by exceedingly annoying Kazon ships. Chakotay, in his (definitely) finite wisdom says we need to do something different and suggests we make some alliances with the Kazon. Well, this goes about as well as you would expect (Thanks Chakotay!). However, Neelix manages to find us a new option: the Trabe. Remember them? Well, the Kazon sure do. Friend or foe? It's the Delta Quadrant, what do you think!? What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve probably already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. In each episode we discuss "Women in the Future" and "Janeway's Leadership Corner" while over-analyzing everything. S2 Ep 28RBVOY 028 – Prototype (S2E13)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Prototype Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E13: Prototype. In this episode, we rescue a robot floating in space and B'Elanna is determined to save it! We have some good prime directive talk in this episode directed by Jonathan Frakes! Prototype Voyager finds a damaged robot floating in space and decides to bring it on board. B'Elanna becomes obsessed with saving it and after she does, she's repaid by being kidnapped and compelled to help the robots procreate (not in that way). Tuvok tried to warn us, but we didn't listen and now the robots are going to kill us all. S2 Ep 27RBVOY 027 – Resistance (S2E12)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Resistance Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E12: Resistance. In this episode, the Voyager crew gets mixed up in some societal unrest on an alien planet. Special guest star Joel Grey plays a confused man who thinks Janeway is his long lost daughter. And who can blame him, Kate Mulgrew looks amazing in this this episode! Resistance Voyager is in desperate need of something called tellerium to keep their warp engines running. They make a deal with some resistance fighters on a planet controlled by some nasty aliens called the Mokra. When a kindly but confused older gentlemen (Grey) rescues an injured Janeway, it seems like a good thing. But as he nurses her back to health, we realize this gentlemen thinks Janeway is his long lost daughter. Janeway needs to find her missing crew and keep her new friend alive. S2 Ep 26RBVOY 026 – Maneuvers (S2E11)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Maneuvers Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E11: Maneuvers. She's baaaack! Seska (as played by Martha Hackett) is back and she has her eyes on the prize. Now the prize might be Voyager, but it also might be Chakotay. Who can say? Maneuvers A surprise attack by a Kazon ship reveals the return of Seska. Now why we weren't prepared for this, no one understands! But Seska is back and she is out for revenge - she wants to take control of Voyager and she also seems to want Chakotay back in her life. This is one weird villain. Chakotay goes on a personal mission of vengeance which puts everyone at risk and this sends Kim into a tizzy about bad leadership. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. In each episode we discuss "Women in the Future" and "Janeway's Leadership Corner" while over-analyzing everything. S2 Ep 25RBVOY 025 – Cold Fire (S2E10)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Cold Fire Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E10: Cold Fire. In this episode, we are reminded of how the entire series started when we run into the Caretaker's ex. And let me tell you, she is pissed! Cold Fire We've been keeping the Caretaker's remains in a microwave in Sickbay (I don't know why, but it's true). When those remains start buzzing, Voyager goes on the hunt for the Caretaker's mate. They get more than they bargained for when they run into some Ocampa living on a small version of the array from episode 1. Kes is thrilled to find some new friends, but not all is as it seems when she suddenly gains some new dangerous powers. S2 Ep 24RBVOY 024 – Tattoo (S2E9)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Tattoo Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E9: Tatoo. In this episode, we learn the origin of Chakotay's facial tattoo...but really who asked? Anyway, guest star Henry Darrow plays Chakotay's father and Douglas Spain plays a young Chakotay. Spoiler alert, if you don't want to see Chakotay's butt, you should avoid watching this episode and just listen to the podcast. Tattoo While on an away mission, Chakotay finds some familiar symbols on a moon in the Delta Quadrant which somehow leads to him learning the origins of his family's tribe. Chakotay goes through a series of flashbacks where we meet his father and learn of their antagonistic relationship. S2 Ep 23RBVOY 023 – Persistence of Vision (S2E8)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Persistence of Vision Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E8: Persistence of Vision. In this episode, Janeway is feeling the stress of the captain's chair, but when she begins to hallucinate everyone is worried. Guest stars Carolyn Seymour and Lindsay Haun play characters from janeway's holo novel who break free from the confines of the holodeck. Persistence of Vision Janeway is a bit cranky at the beginning of the episode as everyone wants a piece of her. The doctor orders some rest on the holodeck, but when the holo characters start wandering the hallways of the ship, Janeway worries she's losing her grip on reality. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. S2 Ep 22RBVOY 022 – Parturition (S2E7)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Parturition Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E7: Parturition. In this episode, we HOPEFULLY put an end to the Neelix jealousy story as Tom and Neelix are forced to deal with their tenuous relationship. This episode has a food fight, a new Janeway haircut, a weird puppet baby that hatches from an egg, the doctor giving terrible advice and Neelix acting like a toddler. It. Is. Wild. Parturition Voyager has found a planet that may have some resources, however we call this Planet Hell so I'm thinking maybe not...but of course we have to check it out. Janeway sends down her best pilot (Tom) and her best plant guy ???? (Neelix). This might seem like a good idea except Neelix is currently in a jealous rage over Tom's relationship with Kes and Tom is being a moron about it. So naturally they end up in a weird and dangerous situation where they have to work together to save the life of a rubber lizard chicken baby that may or may not be E.T. This is really what happens. S2 Ep 21RBVOY 021 – Twisted (S2E6)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Twisted Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E6: Twisted. In this episode, most of the crew is trapped on the holodeck and can't make it back to the bridge. Meanwhile, Voyager itself appears to be twisting in space. Twisted The crew makes the mistake of trying to have some fun, leaving Tuvok and Harry on the bridge. When Voyager runs into some strangely distorted space anomaly, the ship starts changing shape. Decks aren't where they are supposed to be and Janeway is desperate to make it to the bridge. Meanwhile, Neelix continues to live in a state of barely controlled jealousy (not an attractive or entertaining thing to watch). S2 Ep 20RBVOY 020 – Non Sequitur (S2E5)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Non Sequitur Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E5: Non Sequitur. Harry wakes up in an alternate reality where he never boarded Voyager. While this life seems pretty good, Harry needs to get back to his own reality. Guest star Louis Giambalvo plays Cosimo, Harry's only real ally. Non Sequitur Harry wakes up in bed with his girlfriend Libby in San Francisco. He wonders first if he's time traveled, but then he realizes he's landed in an alternate reality. He plays it cool at first, but eventually he realizes he has to get back to his own reality. At first his only friend seems to be the nearby coffee shop owner Cosimo, but eventually he finds Tom Paris also missed his chance to join Voyager and the two join together to fix whatever has broken. Be sure to listen to our previous episode S2E4: Elogium where Kes is a sweaty mess. S2 Ep 19RBVOY 019 – Elogium (S2E4)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Elogium Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E4: Elogium. In this wild episode, the Voyager encounters some mating life forms in space which ultimately cause Kes to inappropriately jump into puberty. Elogium The Voyager crew once again goes after something they thinks is interesting and it causes them to lose control of the ship. Kes is negatively impacted in that she arrives in premature puberty and realizes this may be her only opportunity to have a baby. So she's in a crisis. Neelix is in a crisis (he even goes to Tuvok for parenting advice) and meanwhile, everyone else is just making jokes on the bridge. A weird episode. S2 Ep 18RBVOY 018 – Projections (S2E3)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Projections Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E3: Projections. In this episode, the doctor isn't sure what's real and what's a hologram (including himself). Dwight Schultz makes a surprise appearance as Lt. Barclay. We learn Barclay was involved in testing the EMH's interpersonal skills - and doesn't that explain a lot!? Projections This episode kicks off in wild fashion as the doctor appears to be alone on the ship! He does eventually find some people, but he begins to get confused about what is real and what is a program when a tricorder registers him as human! Many twists and turns in this episode and just when you think you've got it figured out, it goes in a different direction. What's this rebinge thing? S2 Ep 17RBVOY 017 – Initiations (S2E2)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Initiations Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E2: Initiations. In this episode, Chakotay stumbles into some Kazon trouble when he takes a young wanna-be-warrior on board his shuttle. Aron Eisenberg guest stars as Kar who is a lot like a young Nog! We get some insight into the origins of the Kazon in this episode and we get a whole lot of bad hair and sunburns. Initiations Chakotay is off by himself in a shuttle performing a ritual to honor his father. But bad news for him, he's managed to find himself in Kazon space where a young Kazon boy is trying to make a name for himself by killing the Federation intruder. Things go badly for the boy and Chakotay ends up in the middle of some Kazon drama. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. S2 Ep 16RBVOY 016 – The 37’s (S2E1)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: The 37's Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S2E1: The 37's. In this episode, Voyager bumps into a red pickup truck floating in space. And if that isn't outlandish enough, we bring the truck on board AND IT STARTS. This is a bit of a wacky episode where the secret of what happened to Amelia Earhart is finally revealed. Although we don't really explain why she has feathered hair from the 90s. That's a mystery for a different day. The 37's When Voyager follows an SOS signal they find that Amelia Earhart, her navigator and a bunch of other people from the 1930s really were abducted by aliens and brought to the Delta Quadrant. If that isn't crazy enough, we also find that some of those people kidnapped were put into cryo-stasis and we decide it would be a great idea to just wake them all up. What are we thinking!? What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. S1 Ep 15RBVOY 015 – Learning Curve (S1E16)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Learning Curve Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S1E16: Learning Curve. In this episode, those ever important gel packs catch a virus and Tuvok tries to get some Maquis on the straight and narrow. Our friend and frequent guest host Attiba Royster joins us for the discussion. Connect with Attiba on Instagram or on his website! And if you like the sound of Attiba's voice (and who wouldn't), check out his podcast Teebs & Kid Phoenix vs. If you are interested in supporting Attiba in his work here is a link to the San Diego Fright Mart he mentions in the episode. Learning Curve Tuvok is assigned the task of training some of the Maquis crew members to be better members of Starfleet. That goes about as well as you might expect it to go! Meanwhile, something has gone awry with Voyager's bio-neural gel packs. The gel packs are failing at an alarming rate and we don't have enough in reserve to keep the ship running. This seems bad. GET THAT CHEESE TO SICKBAY! What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. We go deep with every episode, walking you through every scene and analyzing all of the characters and story lines. S1 Ep 14RBVOY 014 – Jetrel (S1E15)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Jetrel Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S1E15: Jetrel. In this episode, Neelix's past comes back to haunt him in the form of James Sloyan playing an Oppenheimer-like character. Remember Sloyan? Yep, that's Odo's dad (sort of)! Jetrel An alien named Jetrel arrives in search of Neelix. Turns out this guy built a weapon that destroyed the moon Neelix and his family lived on. Neelix wasn't there at the time (obviously), but everyone who did live there was killed. Understandably, Neelix does not want anything to do with Jetrel, but Jetrel convinces Janeway that he is on an important mission to save Neelix. As usual, a stranger that we meet in space isn't being completely honest about his motives. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. S1 Ep 13RBVOY 013 – Faces (S1E14)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Faces Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S1E14: Faces. In this episode, we see a little more of Lt Durst as played by Brian Markinson (mostly his face). We met Durst in last week's episode and we wondered how much more we'd see of him! Well...don't get too attached! Faces Tom, B'Elanna and Durst are taken prisoner by the heavily unpleasant Vidiians who suffer from the phage. Remember those guys? While this alone seems bad enough, one of the scientifically inclined Vidiians has separated out the Klingon and human parts of B'Elanna and somehow turned her into two separate people! Now the crew on the outside sets out to save their missing friends while the crew on the inside just fights to survive. Cathexis Tuvok and Chakotay return from an away mission in a heavily damaged shuttle and a brain dead Chakotay. Crew members start losing track of their own actions and Kes thinks there's an unseen presence on board. S1 Ep 11RBVOY 011 – Heroes and Demons (S1E12)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Heroes and Demons Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S1E12: Heroes and Demons! In this episode, Harry disappears again! This time he's lost inside a holodeck program based on Beowulf. Tuvok and Chakotay follow him in, but they too get lost and Voyager needs another hero. Heroes and Demons When Harry disappears for the 100th time, Tuvok and Chakotay enter the holodeck to find him. Once inside they find it's playing a Beowulf inspired story where Harry is the hero - but bad news, the NPCs all say Harry is dead. Tuvok and Chakotay don't have much luck and finally we send in the only person who can fight a holographic monster...another hologram! That's right, the doctor gets his first away mission and his first temporary name. What's this rebinge thing? It’s a re-watch of a thing you’ve already seen but love to watch and talk about. Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: State of Flux Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S1E11: State of Flux! In this episode, we have a run-in with some Kazan who are as sunburned and cranky as ever. Tuvok thinks someone has sold Federation secrets to the Kazan and he and Chakotay are on the case. Seska (as played by Martha Hackett) and Lt. Carey, of broken nose fame, (played by Josh Clark) are the primary suspects. Biggest shocker in this episode is Kim supports Neelix's actions! WHAT? State of Flux The Voyager crew is foraging on a new planet in search of new food sources. A surprise appearance with a Kazan ship causes a hasty retreat - but some suspicious things happen on the planet with Seska and Lt. Carey. The two crew members were out of comms for a bit and when it's later revealed that someone has sold Federation technology to the Kazan, an investigation ensues. What's this rebinge thing? S1 Ep 9RBVOY 009 – Prime Factors (S1E10)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Prime Factors Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S1E10: Prime Factors. In this episode we meet a new advanced race of people who are maybe a bit lazy. Janeway gets tangled up with one of the leaders of the community as she mistakenly believes he is there to help. This slimy dude is played by Ronald Guttman and we refer to him as Oily G. Prime Factors Voyager encounters a ship from a planet called Sikaris whose leader (Oily G) claims to be there to help. And he invites Janeway and her crew to spend time on his planet to relax and chill. This all seems great until we find they have advanced technology that could get us home but have their own version of the Prime Directive and do not want to help. On top of this, we encounter the seedy underbelly of this bored and lazy civilization who don't seem to care about anything. Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Emanations Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S1E9: Emanations. In this episode we stumble onto an asteroid of dead bodies and Harry gets lost AGAIN. Surprise guest star Jerry Hardin (who does not look like Mark Twain) turns up as a doctor who studies death! Emanations Harry, Chakotay and B'Elanna find an asteroid full of dead bodies while searching for a new element. When a strange light appears, they try to get back to Voyager safely, but poor Harry gets sucked into a different dimension! Harry spends the episode learning about a new alien race called the Vhnori and their cult-like view of death while trying desperately to find his way home. What's this rebinge thing? S1 Ep 7RBVOY 007 – Ex Post Facto (S1E8)
Rebinging Star Trek Voyager: Ex Post Facto Hello Star Trek fans! Welcome to Rebinge Star Trek Voyager S1E8: Ex Post Facto. In this episode Tom finds himself in some serious trouble and Tuvok goes into Columbo mode (and probably spends some time on his new podcast). And we've got some real old-fashioned Star Trek tropes in this episode including an aggrieved wife (with a ratty little dog), some dull aliens and a gigantic misunderstanding. Ex Post Facto Voyager sends Harry and Tom on an away mission to work on a science thing with some feather-headed aliens. Of course Tom finds the project boring and gets into trouble by making out with the wife of the scientist. And as you can imagine, everything pretty much goes to hell from there. When Tom gets arrested for murder, Tuvok gets out his magnifying glass and starts trying to solve the mystery.
