Show Notes

In "Rebel News" we discuss the train wreck that was the Golden Globes, including the hypocrisy of Hollywood and Oprah's pitch for subjective truth and a 2020 presidential run! In our topic we tackle the topic of (partial) preterism, that is, the view of biblical prophecy as being fulfilled in the future of the writers but the past of us as 21st century readers. Matthew 24, Revelation, Daniel... these are prophetic texts that actually don't speak of our future but of the future of the original audience... and there are a lot of practical lessons we can learn when we interpret the bible this way.
