Few are familiar with the first 9/11 tragedy - September 11, 1789. Alexander Hamilton was appointed first Secretary of the Treasury. Hamilton is glorified in popular culture and even has a hit Broadway musical with his namesake; the truth is that Hamilton has done as much damage to the United States than any other single figure.
