Sanctuary State Governors Testify
Andrew Walworth, Tom Bevan and Carl Cannon discuss today’s congressional hearings that featured three Democratic governors from sanctuary states, and the decision to remove U.S. diplomatic personnel and military families from the Middle East, in advance of what could be an impending Israeli strike on Iran. They also talk about HHS Secretary Robert F. Kenney Jr.’s decision to fire all 17 members of the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices at the CDC and replace them, and the appearance of Donald Trump and other administration members at the Kennedy Center last night for the opening of the musical “Les Mis". Next, Tom talks to Greg Swenson, Chairman of Republicans Overseas UK, on news that UK's economy shrunk in May due in part to U.S. tariffs, and what that means for British PM Kier Starmer’s political future. And lastly, Carl talks to RCP contributor Eric Spitz about how the unrest in Los Angeles will affect the Democratic primary for governor.
