What is Land Flipping?!
This week on the Real Estate Investing School Podcast we have Shelby Wengreen! Shelby is a Student in Real Estate Investing School and shares her story about how she went from not knowing anything about real estate investing to making over $15,000 on a land flip deal.
Shelby started out finding ways she could start building cash flow. She even rents out her driveway for storage on an app called Neighbor. Such a cool way to think outside the box and get started! She has learned to stop being afraid of the potential "what if's" and to just start taking action. Sometimes that means you're going to find things out the hard way like when the city contacted her about not being permitted to rent out her driveway because she didn't have certain things in place. But guess what, she got those things in place, and now she's good! She figured it out and kept moving forward!
Shelby now focuses primarily on land flipping and just landed a land flip deal in Colorado. Make sure to listen to the special update at the end of the episode to hear how she got an all cash offer before her land flip even hit the market!
In this episode Shelby also reminds us of two great points!
- Only take advice from people you would trade palace with.
- Consistency is key. Even if that means working toward your goals for 10 mins in your bed. Be consistent everyday!
