Meet our guest, Tony "Duplex" Franks, a true exemplar of a lifestyle investor. The escalator was in play as there was another offer who also was at $50,000 over asking price. Thanks to a personal connection with the seller, they ultimately accepted his offer, but not his highest offer, Tony's original of $5,000 over the initial asking price.
