On this edition of Real Cancer Talk: Facts & Faith Fridays, Dr. Robert Winn and community leaders welcomed Dr. Joseph Mikhael, Chief Medical Officer for the International Myeloma Foundation to discuss efforts being made to educate the community about multiple myeloma. Dr. Mikhael also touches on the disparities in multiple myeloma and why the disease is impacting communities of color in particular. Later artists Sir James Thornhill and Hamilton Glass, who were behind the new design for the Massey on the Move mobile health units, share how the local community inspired them.
