A unique Real Cancer Talk: Facts & Faith Fridays as Dr. Robert Winn and community leaders are joined by Erica Phillips, MD, MS; OreOluwa Comfort Aluko and students from the VCU Massey Cancer Center's Summer Healthcare Experience (SHE) in Oncology program to give insight into different walks in the field of oncology. Dr. Phillips discusses her journey to becoming a primary care physician or the “gatekeeper” to seeing an oncologist, then OreOluwa Comfort Aluko talks about her path as a medical student pursuing oncology and finally hearing from some of the students in the SHE program.
