Lindsay Clancy was described as the perfect mother. She doted on her three children and she worked as a midwife. But in January 2023.... she committed the worst crime imaginable and took the lives of her three children, but why?
Her defence say that she had post-partum psychosis, the prosecution say she knew what she was doing. But how can we ever really know or understand, how this rare but potentially fatal illness can affect a new mother?
Well, today we can get a step closer to understanding post-partum psychosis. Lacey, is a mother-of-two, who adores her children and works in mental health services. She was diagnosed with post-partum psychosis and has lived through an unimaginable experience. And on her darkest day, she attempted to take the life of her baby. Lacey is here to tell her story.
