Denise Fleck has created a beautiful book that helps our kids learn that we should not judge animals, or people, by there outward appearances. Her book "Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover" tells a beautiful story of love between a girl who dreamed of having a fancy, pure bred dog and the shelter dog her family adopts. It is a powerful lesson that will help our kids learn not to judge an animal by its age, if it is found in a shelter, breed or other outward appearance. Towards the end of the interview we greet an unexpected guest, my shelter dog Auggie.
