Brett Rutherford and Darby Robinson get you caught up on all of the Rays offseason moves thus far, including signing veteran catcher Danny Jansen and trading center fielder Jose Siri. With the Winter Meetings well underway, they discuss what moves the Rays might and probably will make before the start of the season.
We also have an update on the Rays stadium saga, after the St. Petersburg City Council approved the issuance of bonds for the Historic Gas Plant District redevelopment in their last meeting, and the Pinellas County Commission seems poised to do the same when they reconvene. The ball is now back in the Rays' court, but this seems like a step in the right direction for the stadium deal to go forward as agreed.
