Brett Rutherford and Danny Russell break down the news that the redevelopment of the Historic Gas Plant District will move forward with the Rays/Hines plan to center it around a new ballpark that will keep the Rays in St. Petersburg for generations to come. This is a long time coming for the franchise, whose goal it's been to build a new stadium since Stuart Sternberg took over the team in 2005. Brett and Danny debate what this deal means for the future of the Rays.
They also preview the start of the second half which begins on Friday against the Yankees, and go through some of the more interesting names in the Rays 2024 draft class.
