“My jaw dropped when I saw over $3,000 in my account,” said a DoorDash driver from Northern California, who thought the company may be giving him backpay, VICE reported.

“You cannot transfer because you currently owe -$6,339.32,” read a message displayed by the app.
Doordash deliverers, which the company does not classify as employees, vented their frustration with the situation online.

“We aren’t employees to [Doordash],” wrote one member of the Reddit forum. “We’re officially slaves to them.”

Potatoes and the smell of fear

Hebrew University of Jerusalem Research team introduced a new gene into potato plants coded to create a fluorescent protein in the chloroplast. The amount of florescence of the protein depends one the amount of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the potato plant. ROS includes super-oxide and hydrogen peroxide.

Superoxide AKA negative ions of molecular oxygen, (O-) is generated when anything bad happens to the plant (virus, cuttings, too much sunlight)
Superoxide half life is < 1 second, decays into hydrogen peroxide, AKA (HO)
