• You can connect to a server anonymously, and browse the public data
• You can login to a server, in which case you get access to things your account gives you access (e.g. personalized timelines, notifications etc.)
• Your avatar is downloaded and shown if you login, otherwise a default "anonymous" one will be used
• Amidon now (automatically) registers itself as a client to the server you selected.
• Amidon credentials, token and avatar are all cached locally
