My friend Roy Pfaltzgraff joins me on zoom to talk about how he farms in the dry plains of North Eastern Colorado without irrigation.
Roy talks about the 10+ different varieties of edible crops he grows on his 2,000 acre dryland farm and how he is increasing soil health by smart crop rotations and not using livestock.
Roy gives me some insight into how he markets some of the different food crops he grows, including selling to restaurants and some direct to consumer sales.
