Demand remains high for feeder cattle as we move into the summer months. Grass cattle are commanding top dollar with 500 pound steers bringing over $1,800 in many parts of the country. Some producers are stocking summer pastures with heavier cattle simply because of the current up tick in feeder cattle prices.
