UNC Campus Faces Series of Incidents: Hate Crime, Sexual Assaults, Fraud, and Theft - The UNC campus experienced a string of incidents from March 22nd to 28th, including a hate crime with anti-transgender vandalism, multiple sexual assaults, fraud, and theft. The sexual assaults, which occurred between September and February, are now closed, but domestic violence cases remain open. Theft incidents included stolen packages, scooters, bikes, and a vehicle. Vandalism and drug/liquor violations also occurred. Some cases are still under investigation.
