James Tolkan, known for his tough roles in Top Gun and Back to the Future, passed away at 94. He was remembered for his portrayal of Gerald Strickland in Back to the Future. Tolkan, a Navy veteran, had a 25-year career in New York theater. He is survived by his wife of 54 years.
