Bell Lap Cycleworks to Open Second Location in Lafayette Village, North Raleigh
Bell Lap Cycleworks, a bike shop known for selling bikes, handling repairs, and offering custom fittings, is set to open its second location in the Lafayette Village shopping center in North Raleigh. The new spot on Honeycutt Road will replace TLC for Bikes, which closed after its original owner, Gary Smith, passed away from cancer last fall. Bell Lap plans to launch around May first and is currently holding liquidation sales to clear out TLCs leftover inventory. The center has also seen other changes recently, with Frankos Prime Steakhouse opening in January and Minas Italian Market and Deli taking over the longtime deli Bongiorno and Son. However, Koket Boutique is set to close on March twenty-eighth due to tough economic times. Despite these shifts, Lafayette Village remains a popular spot for locals, with its European village vibe and evolving shopping scene.
