In this story, Moon gets bullied by a child named Venus in school. The story shows how her friends help her get her out of the situation safely. This story for children will teach them how to use assertiveness to help and support each other when encountered by bullies. It is very important for children to learn that they should support each other, rather than bully or hurt each other. Also, understanding other’s feeling and emotions can in a great way help them to be more empathetic and considerate.

Assertiveness is a communication skill and much needed to succeed and be happy in life. Like any skill it gets better with practice.
Assertiveness helps children by keeping away social anxiety, making them self-aware, and by helping them to expect positive responses. Healthy self-esteem is also a benefit of being assertive. We tend to validate our perspective by expressing them to others and by honoring our own needs. This can make us feel good about ourselves. We can control our own lives rather than let someone else control it.
Building and maintaining relationships also becomes an easy task for assertive people. They respect each other, openly express their needs and tend to be elaborate and empathetic.
