2019 was arguably the last GREAT year of cinema. During the streaming wars of lockdown, film studios went all in on streaming services and streaming movies, leading to a dilution in film quality, an over saturation of movies and a decline in box office turn out. 2019 saw the highest box office on record at $42.5 billion in total global gross. Although that may never happen again, movies will always survive. Let's break down the entire year of film in 2019.
